Elena M. Hernan - Rosewood Farms

A welcome new addition to Dougherty Ranch, Elena Hernan is an international F.E.I. competitor throughout Europe and the US. She offers training for horses, as well as exceptional, personal instruction for riders of every level. 

While Elena specializes in Dressage and can help a competitive rider work toward their penultimate goals, she also she loves working with adults and kids that are new to horses and riding. In addition to the formal Dressage education she offers, students can also opt for basic English instruction for beginning riders, and can work from there on developing goals toward a specific discipline.

Elena is happy to work with you to develop a lesson or training plan that meets your goals and progresses at the pace you are comfortable with. Beginner lessons are all 1:1 and can be scheduled on demand when her schedule permits. In addition to her many talents as a rider and instructor, Elena is warm, fun, and approachable.
